We have recognized that you, our dear member are critical to our continued success as a unit in the house of VHF and in the body of Christ at large. We believe that Excellence, Integrity and Compliance to regulations are integral parts to how we function as a ministry and how we grow as individuals.
This Code is therefore designed to provide all members of the Vessels of High Praise with guidelines for appropriate conduct during their period of service. This Code is not to serve a constraint on your personal life but to create a culture of accountability in the house.
Please ensure you read through, and feel free to ask questions on issues that are not clear.
All members are expected to be present and punctual for all VHF meetings which include; regular Sunday services, Wednesday Of the Word, Livewire( prayer meeting), rehearsals among others. In a case whereby there would be hitches in terms of being late, not being able to make it for a meeting or program, you are to communicate in due time to the Ministers in charge with proper explanation. Communication should be done at least 3 hours to the intended event.
There is an expected dress code for members which should be strictly adhered to (Communicate in due time if you'll not be able to dress in line). Wearing of slippers is not allowed for any meeting at all. All members are expected to show up in the stated uniforms. Decency is also very integral in our dressing.(
It is important that you show honor to leaders including Ministers in charge, Pastors in charge as well as every other Minister and Pastor in the House of VHF. They are to be addressed according to their respective titles as a show of honor. Every member is also to be treated with respect as we are all servants in the house of God.
It is important that leaders be made aware if you are involved with anybody or in a relationship whether outside or within the house of VHF. This is for accountability purposes and to assist in building Godly relationships and value systems. If you’re already in a relationship before you join us. It is mandatory that the leaders be made aware. And if you plan to go into one after you have joined us, Carry the leaders along.
Our core values are WORD, PRAYER AND EXCELLENCE therefore, it is important that you give yourself to prayer and the study of the Word of God in order to build a solid relationship with God, grow in faith and function effectively as a member of your ministry. Structures will be set in the house to help with our growth, It's important that we give ourselves to the process.
A certain percentage of the choir’s Financial Needs(Rehearsals and Buying of Equipment) is handled by the choir (We the members and Ministers), As a result of that, every member is expected to pay a certain amount every month as their dues.
